Love me do
Ben & Lisa had a wedding ceremony last weekend at Northampton Guildhall, followed by a Jewish blessing. I’ll let the pictures do (most of!) the talking!
Some ‘smoke and mirrors’ getting ready shots
Now that’s what I call a pair of shoes…
Lisa arrived in style…
The setting for the blessing at Lathbury Park was beautiful and we were so lucky that the rain held off despite some threatening stormy clouds. Perfect for pictures because overcast skies are so last year!
Not often do you come across a couple that are so completely in love that they can forget all else around them on their wedding day. It was an honour to share in so many tender heartfelt moments.
Ben & Lisa really stamped their personalities on their day. Nuances of The Beatles were in abundance, from Ben’s ‘love me do’ cuff-links to exiting the ceremony to ‘I want to hold your hand’. So, of course, the zebra crossing in front of the Guildhall had to be used for a variation of the infamous Abbey Road shot …
After the formalities the champagne and merriment flowed. I wonder where Manon got that cigar?!
… the speeches were made, six of them in fact. including the Bride – you go girl!
The girl heaven chocolate cake was cut…
… the dance lessons paid off with a fabulous first dance to rapturous applause …
… and fireworks that put all other fireworks to shame were the perfect end to the perfect day.
