Fawsley Hall Open Day

Fawsley Hall, one of my favourite local venues, recently held an Open Day for couples to come along and have a look around. Knightley Court was set up beautifully (but I’d expect no less from Fawsley!) as if for a wedding and I was asked along to take some photographs of the set up.

The dinner tables in Knightley Court had each been decorated differently which was a great way to show off lots of different designs and ideas to suit different styles, tastes and colour schemes. I actually loved that each table was different – in fact, had they all been in the same colour scheme this could be a really fun idea! Here are some of my favourites …

I really like the simplicity of this table setting. And I like all the diagonal lines in the photograph too ;0)

Loving the glam feel of this one …

I loved the summery design of this table – pink butterflies, daisies and a lollipop centre-piece of roses…

The rich red roses, cosy tealights and mirrored reflections give a really decadent look for winter …

And this ‘cheese-cake’ was my absolute favourite thing all day! Gotta love those little mice …

Afternoon tea … I almost had to be dragged away from this!

And finally a few shots of Fawsley church … it’s an awesome setting (but lots of sheep – funky wellies and someone to carry your dress compulsory!)
