Wild thang

I had the best time photographing some of the residents at The British Wildlife Centre in Surrey.

I went in on an afternoon when it was closed to the public which meant I could get inside the enclosures with the keepers and really close to the animals. The environment is really peaceful and the surroundings very sympathetic which are a great recipe for realistic looking photographs.

There were sly foxes, playful otters, snarling wild cats, peanut-eating polecats, the biggest frogs you’ve even seen in your life, shy water voles, foraging badgers, wise owls, teeny tiny harvest mice and prickly hedgehogs. To name a few!
