Baby photography: Isla

Meet Isla. The beautiful daughter of Maria and Nathan, and niece of Anna at Julie Anna Flowers.

Isn’t she just adorable?

Baby photography – Grace May

Here she is, the gorgeous girlie I’d been so excited to meet. Little Grace May is the daughter of Emma, one my best friends, and her other half Nick. It feels very strange and terribly grown up to say that! I think this officially makes us old!

Grace was the perfect little model and happy to play dress-ups in some cute outfits. Apart from a few cries for more milk she was very content and slept through most of the shoot. We did the shoot at home (so no worries about the military operation to get out of the house with a small baby) and used the interior decor of the living room to style the photos. I just loved how Grace’s pink and white dresses toned with Emma’s stylish choice of pink wallpaper and chocolate leather sofas.

Baby photography – Rory

Meet baby Rory. A handsome little lad.

Rory is the second son of Miranda, who I met on the photography course that, unbeknown to me at the time, changed my life. It was this course that inspired me to leave my corporate career behind and set up my own business. So it was lovely to catch up with Miranda again and meet the newest member of the Walton family.

Here’s Rory at just two weeks old …

Baby photography: Lola

Lola was two weeks old and really teeny tiny when I photographed her. She was so at ease and content during the shoot which is one of the reasons why I like to do baby photography at my clients’ homes – it makes everyone feel comfortable and relaxed. Unusually for a new-born Lola was awake for most of the session and very alert. She was really inquisitive about the camera and seemed to love being photographed. Here are some of my favourite photos of baby Lola and her very proud parents, Nick and Danielle.

Baby photography: Freya

This is Freya! Freya is just 3 months and an absolute doll; all tiny and gorgeous. She’s started smiling now so it was fun and games getting her to smile for some photos!

Some of you may recognise her Mum, Lauren, who runs The Bridal Gallery Finedon – a designer wedding dress boutique. If you haven’t organised your dress yet you have to visit.
