Tim and Vicky’s pre-wedding portrait shoot was perfectly planned to be on one of those really warm days we had just at the start of the Autumn! We had a great time enjoying the sunshine as we wandered around getting to know each other and creating some relaxed portraits along the way.

Engagement photos | Mike & Suzanne
I met with Mike and Suzanne for their pre-wedding shoot on one of the many rainy days in August. But we embraced the umbrellas and had a great time creating a variety of portraits for their pre-wedding shoot.
Suzanne was a Bridesmaid at her brother Chris’ marriage to Helen which I photographed back in 2008; so I’m really looking forward to seeing lots of familiar faces at their wedding in December.

Engagement photos | Gavin & Michelle
I don’t think you’d know to look at these photos but Gavin and Michelle were probably one of my most nervous couples on their pre-wedding shoot. But rather than shy away they knew this was all the more reason to have a photo session before their wedding. It’s a great opportuity to have a practice and get used to being in front of the camera. We had lots of laughs along the way, which distracted them from their nervousness.
I think they photographed really well and am very much looking forward to their wedding. I’ll be back at Dodmoor House for this one, and am going for third time lucky with the weather!

Engagement photos at Chicheley Hall | Paul & Helena
Paul and Helena live and work in Bangkok and have been planning their wedding from afar. So we met for the frst time just last week for their pre-wedding shoot and I’ll be photographing their wedding this weekend.
Paul and Helena were nervous about the shoot but happy to go with the flow and just enjoy being with each other. We had lots of fun creating some different looks. They rock a pose and I love how in love they look in the more relaxed photos.
These photographs were taken in the grounds of Chicheley Hall, which is the venue for their reception. It’s a venue I’ve worked at many times but this will be my first wedding there so I’m really looking forward to it.
