It’s always nice when your work is published in a wedding magazine. But having one of your photos featured on a front cover is something else!

Even though I know when they’re coming, it’s still a ‘pinch myself’ moment when I get to hold the printed copy in my hands. I’m so proud of these front covers for Silverlinings Wedding Magazine.

It takes a team to make cover-worthy photos though. And I’m hugely thankful to everyone (locations, dress designers, hairstylists, make-up artists and models) who helped bring these to life.

Autumn/Winter 2019

Boughton House, the location for this shoot, has the most amazing architecture. It’s a sweet shop for photographers! So given that, this shot was taken in a rather unlikely place … the doors to an old stable! I couldn’t resist the texture and colour which set off the balloons beautifully.

This cover image (original photo on the left) was created in a temple at Norwood Park in Nottingham. It was one of the wettest days of the year! Have a nose at this blog post to see more.

Autumn/Winter 2017

This image was produced in the orangery at Weston Hall which is a new wedding venue near Towcester in Northamptonshire. Check out this blog post to see more photos from this shoot which (very happily) also appear in Weston Hall’s wedding brochure.

Spring/Summer 2017

This is the one that started the trend! This photo was shot in the Dower House at Boughton House. We went on a wonderful journey back in time shooting this. I adore the faded grandeur of this (genuine) vintage floral wallpaper. Click here to see more images from this shoot.
