Do you wish...
The million questions you don’t have answers to yet would stop racing around your head at 3am? Suppliers would tell you what you really need to know so you don’t have to guess for yourselves? You had more encouragement and fewer opinions?
Well, your karma collection must be high… because your wish just came true!
Take a minute. Breathe.
This is a place where you can relax and find support.
I’ve created this corner to share the kind of honest information you’d hope to get from a good friend who also happens to be an experienced wedding photographer.
It's all free. Please, help yourselves!
For couples who are just starting the very exciting task of planning their wedding
Everything I know, I share with you
Sally & Ben
“Suppliers weren’t interested when we said we didn’t have a date yet. They only wanted to book us, not help us, but Sarah really cares and you never feel like you’re just another job.”
Heidi & Ricky
“Sarah answered all our questions about photos and even weddings in general. We really appreciated the care she put into something that was so important to us.”
Zoe & Danny
“Sarah has a wealth of experience; she’s by no means just a photographer, she’s a wedding guru!”
Laura & Ian
"Sarah did an excellent job of guiding us through the once daunting prospect of our wedding photography. We really enjoyed her help and guidance."
Lizzie & Adam
“We were easy-going but struggled at times to make decisions. To this end, we really liked being guided through the whole process but never felt pushed or pressured.”

To help you find the venue that feels completely and utterly you, I've pulled together my favourite spots across Northamptonshire and beyond, and gathered some guides on what you might want to ask a venue from a photography perspective.
Being based in Northamptonshire, I’m (very happily) surrounded by an abundance of countryside estates that are available for weddings. So whether you want a country house, orangery, parkland, garden, or converted barn, you might find “the one” in my portfolio.
I’ve rounded up my regular and most favourite wedding venues in one place. Some in Northamptonshire, some further afield.
Each venue links to a dedicated page where you can see photos, discover what makes it so great for wedding photography, and find out how to make the most of it in your pictures.

How to choose a photogenic wedding venue
Before you choose your venue, here are the things they (probably) won’t tell you but you might want to know from a photography perspective.
There’s no venue more unique than the one quite literally on your doorstep.
There’s so much freedom to do things your way. It’ll be like a relaxed weekend garden party - but better because it’s your wedding. And already filled with so many stories, it’s the obvious place to make wedding memories.
But whilst sentimental, a wedding at home is quite the undertaking. And it’s not just the power, parking, and portaloos … alfresco locations bring their own photography challenges too. So I’ve written a guide packed with info and inspo just for you.
Check out this blog post and set yourselves up for photos that make you rush straight to Facebook to update your profile pic.
