Spring styling ideas for weddings at Kelmarsh Hall

When Portfolio Events and Kelmarsh Hall ask if you can take some photos, you show up.

Because they do everything with style.

And whilst it’s people that make a wedding, not things, I make no secret of the fact that I love seeing and capturing divine details too!

That’s partly because I’m a magpie and love to be in nice surroundings. (After all, your environment has a big effect on how you feel, so you might as well make it magical, right?) And also because I find taking still life photos very calming. To do them well, you have to slow down and really look – because it’s only by fully taking things in that you can work out how to show them off at their best. Plus, you get to truly appreciate other people’s talent and creativity. I get completely absorbed in it. #betterthanyoga

So imagine how I felt after this photoshoot… which was divine details galore – ALL DAY.

It was a full-on day, so this is part one: The Spring/Summer Edit… shot in October! So if you’re wondering how to get a pale but interesting look in the autumn, keep scrolling!

And for those of you planning an intimate wedding, stick around until the last few photos. Because there’s a stunning set-up for a banquet-style wedding breakfast for 30 people – proving that small can feel lavish and luxurious.
