There’ll be no gratuitous, contrived creativity all over your photos like a designer label that shouts so loud you can’t see the person behind it.

Instead, my creative calling card is quiet. I’ll keep an open mind to document every dimension of your day just as it’s revealed to me. Whatever your wedding looks like, your photos will be true, timeless, tasteful, and totally you.

This is a place where your wedding will shine - in all its beautiful unboxed glory.

So here’s my pledge:

Weddings have more nuance than an ever-changing sunset.

There’s calm and chaos, elegance and eccentricity, love and laughter, silliness and solemnity, tradition and trends…Then there are moments that happen in bright light and others that unfold in darker settings. Not to mention Mother Nature’s endless combination of ideas.

So to put my style in a box and pick one ‘look’ feels limiting.

A personal approach

Turn Your Screen to the right

A handful of showstoppers won’t cut it. You need an album-full!

To capture a full narrative of your day, I’ll use a mix of genres. Genuine photos of the moments, feelings, and atmosphere. A few authentic pics of you two. A handful of classic family group photos. All the decor and details. Stunning scenic shots. You’ll get a beautifully rounded story of your day so you can relive it on repeat.

Choose a real wedding below to see this come to life. Soak up the atmosphere. Get to know the characters. And then, as you grin back at people you don’t even know, imagine how you’ll feel when it’s your story, your faves, and your love.

Be my plus-one at some real weddings!

Rachel & James

“We didn’t want pictures so ‘edgy and arty’ they belonged in a gallery rather than on a mantelpiece! But Sarah balanced what we wanted perfectly and our album is beautifully varied.”

ELIZABETH & LUKE

“We wanted everything possible and were not disappointed at all.”

Kind words

Anna & Rob

“We didn’t want staged or wooden photos that weren't a true representation of the day. From Sarah we have a beautiful set of photos that wholly capture both the elation and love on the day, as well as the details we put so much effort into.”

FIND A VENUE

Curious to know if I’ve shot at your venue before? A photographer who knows your venue - where the light’s golden, the nooks are romantic, and the magic happens - can be supportive as you plan your wedding and bring peace of mind on the day. But don’t worry, if your venue isn’t on my list, I’ll be even more excited for that first date.
